Both those totals were the team’s worst of the entire 2015 season
The two Manly games which are allegedly under investigation for potential match-fixing featured their worst performances of the season in terms of errors made and missed tackles.
Statistics from the official NRL website show that during last year’s round 16 clash against South Sydney Rabbitohs, the Sea Eagles missed 41 tackles.
It was the most missed tackles they made in any game during the 2015 season and was significantly higher than their average of 26.8 per game over the whole campaign.
Manly’s error count for that game was 12, while over the course of the season they only averaged 9.6 per match.
But the game when the Sea Eagles made the most errors in 2015 was the round 24 fixture against Parramatta Eels.
On that occasion they racked up a total of 16 errors – having made just eight the week before against Canberra Raiders and eight again the week in a massive 46-10 defeat against Sydney Roosters.
The games against the Rabbitohs and the Eels are reportedly under the spotlight after NSW Police Organised Crime Squad announced it was examining information they had received about possible fixing, allegedly linked to a huge betting sting.
